On April 4, 2026, our team joined Senator Martwick, Commissioner Degnen and over a dozen city and state-wide organizations dedicated to protecting our planet for our third annual EnviroFest, focused on “Community Health: Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies, Healthy Planet.”
This year’s Resource Fair featured representatives from Citizens Utility Board, Dunning Read Natural Area PAC, Forest Preserves of Cook County, Friends of Portage Park, Friendship Community Place, Illinois Environmental Council, Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Illinois Green Alliance, Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Commissioner Kirkwood, Northwest Housing Equity and Assurance Program, Olive’s Garden, Openlands, Reduce Waste Chicago, and Third Act Navigators. This event would not have been possible if it were not for the collaboration of our Environmental Advisory Council, which features advocates and professionals from across the far NW Side who are passionate about keeping Illinois green.
