This spring, I fought hard for investments to build up our human service system, in particular by raising wages for frontline human service professionals and expanding our homeless service system. My own background in human services, including work at a group home for kids with special needs and in homeless services, inspires my advocacy. This year was extra challenging due to the chaos and cuts coming out of Washington. Here is a short video of my advocacy across various committee hearings in spring 2026.
