On November 20, 2025, Representative Lindsey LaPointe joined Senator Robert Martwick in hosting an Environmental Town Hall, featuring presentations led by advocates from the Illinois Environmental Council (IEC), the Environmental Law and Policy Center (ELPC), and Citizens Utility Board (CUB) on environmental wins accomplished during the recent veto session, the rise in data centers, and how to minimize your utility bills. In the spirit of protecting the environment, Reduce Waste Chicago participated in the event as well, collecting hundreds of hard-to-recycle goods from local neighbors.
