This fall’s veto session brought many important pieces of legislation through the General Assembly that will significantly impact our community, including transit, mental health access, property tax relief for seniors, and more.
Our office, in partnership with Senator Robert Martwick‘s team, will host a virtual town hall to break down key legislation; provide updates on the impacts of the federal HR1 signed into law on 7/1/25, including SNAP & Medicaid cuts; address ongoing questions about ICE enforcement in Chicago; and answer community questions.
